Pianist Monika Herzig, bassist Kiyoto Fujiwara and drummer Dean Merkel will perform a trio concert of original and standard jazz compositions at Braeside Cottage Tamana City, on 21 November 2009.

Monika Herrzig

is a pianist, from Indiana, who records for Acme and Owl Reocrds. She is a gifted musician and composer who has recorded numerous CDs and has performed in many ensembles. Monika is also a jazz educator in Indiana University.

Kiyoto Fujiwara

was voted Bassist of the year by the Japanese Swing Journal! He is a much sought bassist among musicians in Japan, for very good reason as he is a gifted performer. They will perform compositions by Kyoto during the concert.
