European Free Improvisation: This is a magnificent resource, with listings of musicians, with their bios, discographies, interviews and more available on line. There is also a rich listing of recording labels, and more.

Improvised Music from Japan: This is a nice site with listings of musicians, though at least one odd omission, listings of some concerts of these Japanese improvising musicians outside of Japan, and offerings of a grand box of recordings,

Jazz in Belgium: Much of interest on jazz in Belgium, complied by the Belgian Association of Jazz Musicians, with information on musicians, contact addresses, concert s, etc.

Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians: From their homepage introduction: "Internationally renowned for unparalleled contributions to modern music, the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians, Inc. (AACM) has been an inspirational leader within the cultural community since 1965. The Atlantic Monthlu Online Jazz Articles: A fabulous resource of articles stretching back to the 1920s.

Dutch Jazz Masters: This is an exetensive site with links to Ddutch Jazz musicians

Dutch Jazz Connection:

FRIM: The Association for Free Improvised Music) was founded in 1976 to create a platform for free improvised music in Sweden. After some years of inactivity, FRIM was re-founded in 1998 and has, so far, more than 100 members and has already organized concerts...

Jazz Corner: The location of the homepages of a wide array of jazz musicians, mostly in the US and mostly working in mainstream jazz, widespread listings of concerts throughout the states, and other resources. All very good. (Oddly their flash pages have problems displaying in some browsers, e.g., Explorer for mac.)

Ask The Musicians: This is a forum hosted by the jazz corner where questions are presented to and answered by professional improvising/jazz musicians; these range from music theory to the philosophical and back, about improvising and playing jazz. Some musicians have prolific daialogues, e.g., Robin Eubanks, Bob Brookmeyer, Ellery Eskelin.
